Letters to Santa 

 In English and Guided Reading, we will be reading The Iron Man.  The children will learn to write effectively to retell a story and will structure their writing well. They will also continue to build upon and use correct punctuation. Towards the second part of the half term, pupils will write to engage the reader through detail or word choice and confidently apply adventurous language choices appropriate to the style and purpose of the text.

Spelling

Maths

This half term, children will continue to develop their use of formal methods of addition and subtraction. They will also learn to spot patterns and make estimations. Pupils will be taught to recall times table facts and relate these to associated division facts. They will learn how multiplication can be visually represented in diagrams and the use of arrays.
